Rules for using the service and responsibilities.

1. Service overview

Interval.care is a web application for psychologists and psychotherapists, designed to assist with writing clinical notes, structuring session reports and supporting longitudinal analysis.

Publisher: Michaël Hecht – 29 rue des Boulets, 75011 Paris, France.

2. Access & licences
  • Named licence: 1 licence = 1 therapist.
  • Sharing credentials is prohibited.
  • Mandatory training before first use.
3. Responsibilities
Of the publisher
  • Provide a secure, GDPR-compliant tool.
  • Guarantee availability (99.9% uptime).
  • Automatically anonymize data before any external transmission.
Of the user (therapist)
  • Review the notes generated by the AI (the tool is an assistant, not a clinical decision).
  • Not use the AI APIs (Mistral AI, OpenAI) to establish a diagnosis or an automated clinical assessment.
  • Not attempt to circumvent the automatic anonymization mechanisms.
4. Hosting, security & AI APIs
Security
  • Infrastructure: HDS health-data hosting in France, AES-256 encryption, daily backups.
  • Authentication: mandatory 2FA.
  • Logging: traceability of access and changes.
Automatic anonymization & AI APIs

Process: all clinical data is anonymized in real time by our system before transmission to the Mistral AI and OpenAI APIs.

o Removal of identifiers (names, dates, places, etc.).

o Replacement with placeholders (e.g. [Name], [Date]).

o Blocking of transmissions when sensitive data is detected.

Example:

Input data: "Jean Dupont, 42, lives at 15 rue de Paris and is seeking help for depression."

Transmitted data: "[First name] [Last name], [Age], lives at [Address] and is seeking help for depression."

Retention period: anonymized data is deleted within 24h at Mistral AI and OpenAI.

5. Intellectual property
  • Content generated by the AI belongs to the therapist after review.
  • The tool and its code remain the property of Michaël Hecht.
6. Termination

Immediate suspension in the event of:

  • Non-compliance with these Terms.
  • Unethical or illegal use.
  • Attempt to circumvent automatic anonymization.
7. Changes & disputes
  • 30 days’ notice for changes.
  • Disputes subject to the courts of Paris (France).

8. Consent (to be checked on the site)
For therapists
  • I confirm that I have read and understood that data anonymization is automatic and systemic.
  • I undertake not to attempt to circumvent this mechanism.
For patients
  • I have been informed that my data is automatically anonymized before any processing via the Mistral AI and OpenAI APIs.
